"They need a large amount for a return of so little," said Rich LoCicero talking about Wal-Mart in the article ("Restaurateur wants to take a bite out of Wal-Mart"), on Nov. 17. Rich must not know a lot about Wal-Mart except what the unions and other big companies against Wal-Mart say.

To me, the most heartening election result this November took place in Dover, Pa. There, citizens in a Republican town in a traditionally Republican congressional district voted to replace virtually the entire local school board with moderates running as Democrats.
