A vote on the dress code?

Dear editor, I distinctly remember last year when the St. John's Catholic student government, I among them, proposed reducing restrictions in the dress code on sock length. Only weeks after crafting our new bicameral system, the Student Council unanimously adopted the idea. It then proceeded to our multi-class Senate and passed 15-3. The principal concurred and we are now allowed to wear socks of any length, so long as they are visible.
