New principal and teachers at St. John's
St. John's the Baptist Catholic School begins the new school year with four new teachers who bring over 100 years combined teaching experience and Nancy Jordan as its acting principal.
Father Gordon Kalil said, "St. John's is bringing together the strongest faculty and staff that (I) have experienced having been at five other Catholic parishes with elementary schools. St. John's is also blessed to have as a part of our team, Nancy Jordan, who has stepped into the all important position of acting principal."
Jordan has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in school psychology as well as California state credentials in pupil personal service and administrative services. She is also a credentialed school counselor and holds a private license in educational psychology. This spring, she will earn her second master's degree in educational leadership from Saint Mary's College in Moraga.
