CDF ordered to pay green group $25,000 in dispute over vineyard
Napa County Superior Court Judge has ordered the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to pay a local environmental group $25,000 to cover legal fees in a dispute over the clearing and planting of a proposed vineyard near Calistoga.
Napa Classic draws 1,000 lovers of equestrian sports and plenty of support for youth and pool project
Organizers are still counting the beans, but unofficial reports are that county youth programs and the Calistoga community pool project could share about $50,000 earned from this year's Napa Classic event, held July 23.
