Australia is a continent of contrast. From the island state of Tasmania in the south with its jagged mountains and rugged coastline, to the vast dry plains and rock formations of the Outback, to Queensland's tropical rainforests and Great Barrier Reef in the north. These images were made last year on a two-month overland journey during May and June, Australia's late fall. They represent just a fraction of the beauty that is to be found in this land and its people, a beauty that can only be truly experienced first-hand.
